I for one, get kind of nervous as the countdown to fashion week gets closer. I start to think “what am I going to wear!?” I don’t want to wear things that I would wear on just any day, because it’s fashion week! You kind of have to bring it. With that being said, I immediately though of designer Mimi Plange. Her designs are nothing short of brilliant. She knows what the modern woman wants to wear and knows how to execute it seamlessly. Using her gorgeous designs, I styled 2 looks that made my heart smile. For the first one, I paired a white exaggerated peplum top with a blue leather skater skirt for a double dose of peplum prettiness. I then added in strappy white sandals and a bold pink lip to kick things up a notch. In the second look I went twirling around Brooklyn in this flowing floral trench coat. I paired it with feminine pink trousers and a white crop top to play with different hemlines and to keep this look fun and flirty. It’s not everyday that you find a designer who just gets you, but Mimi Plange certainly does. Happy last day of summer! |
