In 2019, I was sneaking off to Westlake Village in to sip full bodied cabernet in the lush vineyards, but in 2021 things look a bit different. For one, I’m almost 6 months pregnant. And this time, I was doing a girls weekend staycation with 3 of my best girlfriends: Laura, Melanee & Sydne. While the trips were slightly different, one thing still remained the same. The beauty of the Westlake Village Inn! The property makes me feel like I’m in a scene plucked straight from an Alice in Wonderland film. Sprawling gardens and lush, green, grass at every twist and turn, and magical fountains that glow from sun up to well past golden hour. The only person enjoying the Westlake Village Inn more than me and my girls this past weekend were the birds! Okay so they aren’t exactly human, but they were singing sweet songs and frolicking about right outside our windows. It made the entire visit seem more like a dream than reality.
I guess what I’m trying to say, is that whether you’re looking to get lost in the vineyards and wine taste the day away, or have your heart set on doing a family staycation outside of the city, Westlake Village Inn is a fabulous place to do it. I’m confident that you will enjoy the sprawling gardens, delicious food and gorgeous wine as much as we did.
