Thanksgiving is my favorite time of year and it’s not just because of the delicious food and promise of black Friday shopping that is only a day away. It’s because it is the one time of year that I know I will be flying back East to visit my lovely family. Although, I grew up in Maryland, my family and I all travel to Charlotte, North Carolina where my aunt and uncle are the loveliest hosts. I have been surrounded by family, picturesque scenery, great food, and endless laughter for the past few days and there is just no place I’d rather be. You’ll have to forgive me for being a little lazy on blogging.
For the big turkey dinner I wore a sequin vintage jacket and my favorite kelly green denim. Afterwards we took a (much needed) nature walk and I swapped out my sequins for a warmer blazer scarf combo and comfy flats. If you haven’t already noticed, I’m a little obsessed with the leaves. They are absolutely stunning.
