Today I put my entire outfit together around this lovely skirt. I’ve had it for some time now and I just never got around to wearing it. First it needed some minor alterations (taking the hem up and tapering the sides) and after that I think it just kept slipping my mind that I owned this little vintage beauty. Sometimes you just need to take a nice long look at what you really have in your closet. What I love most about this piece is the pleating, it’s always the little things that make something special. I paired it with this lace top to give it a soft feminine feel, and added a coral cardigan for a pop of color. |
