‘Tis the season to be fancy! December for me usually means getting all dolled up for holiday parties. Whether I’m hosting a dinner party with my husband, going to a black tie soiree, or just doing a gift swap and cocktails with my girlfriends. I love to wear something sparkly that makes me feel beautiful. While this year may look different, and I may just be all dolled up on the couch, I still always look forward to playing dress up. The last thing I always do before I walk out the door is spray my favorite scent because it’s always makes me feel feminine and put together. My go-to right now is Mary Kay’s new Illuminea Extrait de Parfum Fragrance. It has warm floral notes of peony and honeysuckle and subtle notes of pink pepper and vanilla that linger on my skin from the moment I spray it until I lay down for bed. What I love most of all is that this romantic fragrance was inspired by Mary Kay Ash herself. Mary Kay Ash was a glamorous, southern bell, and the ultimate girl boss, but she was also all about empowering women to be the best version of themselves. I feel like a great perfume can give you the confidence to do just that.

I love scents that have vanilla in them that lingers. The pink pepper is interesting too! I’ve smelled other scents with it that I like, so I’d like to try this too.
