If you can’t go to a pretty pink tea room, bring the tea room to you! I had so much fun setting up this little tea party in my backyard. It’s amazing how a pretty dress, a dreamy tablescape and great company can transport you to a far away place without ever having to leave the comfort (or safety) of home. My backyard has been such sanctuary for me over the past 4 months. I’ve setup fancy date night picnics, read some of my favorite books, enjoyed dinners with my family, and lost track of time sunbathing under the canopy of the old oak trees. As much as the current situation frustrates me at times, it also makes me so grateful for all that we have. I love my home and my yard and my friends so much. Needless to say, Melanee and I had a fabulous time. We got all dolled up in Needle and Thread gowns, munched on chocolate dipped biscottis and sipped rose flavored tea. It was a much needed distraction from reality and a lovely ladies who lunch moment.

I hope you’re doing well. Thanks so much for visiting me!

  1. Yes, this is a good blog article without any doubts.. I’m also a big fan of writing down goals and keeping up with them for that very same reason–to see my progress and get encouraged to keep going. If there’s no feeling of progress, then motivation can dwindle before you accomplish what you set out to. Great article!
