Dress: Asos, Coat: Ebay, Shoes: Charlotte Russe, Bag: Lulu’s, Earrings: Capewell & Co., Necklace: Capewell & Co., Photos by: Tony Oberstar There are few locations in Los Angeles more visually stunning than the Griffith Observatory at sunset. It offers panoramic views of the city, from Santa Monica, to Downtown, to the iconic Hollywood sign. It’s one of those places that when I visit I feel lucky to live in Los Angeles. Sure this city is filled with smog, and traffic, and everyone is trying to be a star, but it’s also filled with creativity and beauty that spans almost as wide as these glorious views. From the beaches to the Downtown LA skyline, Los Angeles sparkles. Sometimes I look back on that 18 year old girl who moved here from rural Pennsylvania, and I feel proud of how far I’ve come. Choosing to move to California changed my life for the better and provided me with opportunities that I could have never dreamed of. As much as I love to get away from home and explore, I always love coming back. LA has become like a familiar face that I never tire of. I decided to wear something glamorous (yet impractical) for a date with the city that I have loved for seven years. This look reminded me of old Hollywood glamour. I thought that seemed appropriate for the occasion. Of course, Tony made my vision come to life. Thanks so much for visiting and following along on this journey. |
