I’ve always loved entertaining. There’s just something magical that happens when you bring amazing people together to eat, drink and enjoy each other’s company.  That’s why co-hosting this festive holiday dinner in Big Bear with my friend, Sydne, made my heart so happy.  The two of us along with three of our dear friends: Melanee, Rachel & Laura, snuggled in with festive holiday decorations, a roaring fire in the fireplace, jazzy Christmas tunes and delicious Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc. We ate a variety of pastas, salads and roasted chicken. We spent hours laughing and talking while recounting our trip and taking in the view of the crisp white snow outside our windows. My favorite thing about our evening is that we weren’t celebrating anything in particular. We were just having a lovely meal together in our charming log cabin in the mountains. Sometimes it’s nice to stop and appreciate the little moments.  Cheers to my favorite time of year!

Do you love hosting dinner parties as much as I do?

  1. I am insanely jealous as I don’t have many female friends and certainly don’t get to entertain much – although I love it too. I travel the world and hop from one country to another, which is great most of the time but can get pretty lonely.

Thanks for sharing your stunning pictures. Lovely!
