When I first started blogging, it was because I had a crazy love affair with clothes. But it didn’t take me long to realize that I also loved the entire creative process. The photography, the potential for great shoot locations and all of the fun that you can have while showcasing the clothes. Shoots like this one are the reason why I started blogging in the first place. It wasn’t for the sponsorships or the gifted items, it was for the simple fact that I could create beautiful images and use my creativity to shine light on brands that I wear and love. Sometimes I have to take a step back and remember that. So today’s post is one that I did just for me. Jonny and I were both so excited to shoot in this gorgeous sea of Bougainvillea. About halfway through the shoot I realized that my outfit is a bit bridal-esque. That wasn’t my intention, but I do love how the white lace pops against the vibrant fuschia bushes. I hope you enjoy this post as much as we enjoyed creating it for you.

Funny you said this, because you were the tipping point for me to start a blog. I followed your blog, along with many others, for a long time and then I was randomly working in Antelope Valley and saw you at the mall at H&M opening (stole away from work to shop). I was finishing up my masters degree and really needed a fun outlet to balance my work-life. When I saw you, I was like OMG cool, she get to do that also? So I'm saying all this to say, you inspire me E. Such a classic and classy beauty and LOVE your style and this dress is gorgeous on you. SO romantic.
