Top: Diane Von Furstenberg (dress worn as top) similar here,  Skirt: Charlotte Russe (dress worn as skirt) similar here, Blazer: Forever 21 (love this striped option), Bag: Vintage, Earrings: H&M, Watch: Michael Kors, Bracelet: Gifted, Ring: Cache, Shoes: Charles David via Frederick’s c/o, Lipstick: Mac “Amplified”, Nails: OPI “Pinking of You”

Today I mixed one of my favorite pattern combinations, floral and stripes. I paired a structured black and white blazer with a floral print skirt and black leather accessories. It’s important to stay in the same color family when mixing prints so that things don’t get too busy. Also, I find myself doing a lot of “wardrobe maximizing” these days; wearing dresses as tops and skirts as dresses. It really is a great way to make sure you’re wearing everything you have. Also, I’ve put myself on a bit of a shopping probation, so I’m forced to get creative.

I hope your week is going great so far!

  1. Superb blog! Do you have any tips for aspiring writers?
I'm planning to start my own blog soon but I'm a little lost
on everything. Would you advise starting with a free platform like
WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many options out there that I'm completely overwhelmed ..

    Any recommendations? Kudos!
