Cape Jacket: Vintage, Chambray Shirt: Thrifted in Paris, Necklace: Christmas Gift, Pants: H&M, Watch: Michael Kors, Bracelets: Charlotte Russe, Bag: Michael by Michael Kors, Earrings: H&M, Shoes: Charles David

I hope you had a very merry Christmas! Yesterday, I hosted
my very first Christmas dinner. Since I go back east to visit my family for
Thanksgiving it often leaves me missing my family for Christmas, so this year
my sister, and a few of my dearest friends and I all got together to have our
own  dinner.  It’s for all of us who’s families are far
away. It was a wonderful day filled with love, laughter, and a bunch of
delicious food. I’m so thankful for my girlfriends who are much like family.

On another note, I bought these fancy pants about a month ago and haven’t gotten around to wearing them. Today the inspiration bug bit me and I decided to pair them with a chambray shirt, a pretty vintage cape coat, and a fabulous new statement necklace that I got (yesterday) for Christmas from one of my besties. This look kept me warm and yet I still felt kind of sparkly. I love when that happens.

What did you do for the holiday? Thanks so much for reading!
