Dress: ASOS (worn as top), Skirt: Vintage, Necklace: Target, Shoes: Nine West, Sunglasses: No Brand, Watch: Michael Kors, Earrings: H&M, Clutch: Vintage

In this outfit, I touched on two of springs hottest trends: the peplum, and pastels. Sometimes it can be dangerous territory to try multiple trends at once, but I think in this case they are both subtle enough that it doesn’t look like a crazy mess. This appears to be a white peplum top but it’s actually a dress. However the skirt on it is rather short so I decided to add this fabulous vintage pencil skirt instead to make it a little more of a daytime look. I then added one of my favorite statement necklaces to draw attention to the tops great neckline.

  1. I love the lilac color! I've never thought about wearing a dress with a skirt on top, but that's a great way to create new outfits. Love your style!

  2. Eva, I just put the skirt over top of the other skirt that was attached to the dress. I didn't rool it up. Some materials (like this one) work better than others for this trick!

  3. Ohhh I love this look! Your style is so elegant and chic. Love your blog. And thanks for following mine=)
