This past weekend I did some much-needed vintage shopping at
one of my favorite little boutiques in Pasadena. Among my many new treasures was this little blue skirt. Its silky texture and interesting pattern made me know right away that it was a must-have. I paired it with a white collared button down and a sweater vest to give it a polished look. I think it’s really important to pair vintage items with more modern ones to keep your outfit from looking dated. There are some exceptions to this rule, but it’s a good one to remember in order to keep yourself from looking like you just stepped off the set of a period piece.
I hope you have had a fantastic week! Cheers to Friday!
