Sunny Day Stripes

I wore this beautiful silk dress today in an effort to beat the heat. The material is thin and lightweight so it kept me nice and cool while I bopped around and did a  little shopping. I was on the hunt for some “basics”. I needed a new pair of nude pumps and some black mary jane’s, (if you follow me on Twitter you got to see a little peek at what I bought)  although shopping for practical wardrobe staples isn’t quite as fun, it must be done.
