Top: Forever 21 (similar here), Blazer: Forever 21 (love this option), Skirt: (dress worn as skirt) Vintage via The Loved One (similar here), Earrings: H&M, Necklace: Charlotte Russe, Sunglasses: No Brand (thrifted), Bracelets: Charlotte Russe & Charming Charlie, Watch: Michael Kors, Bag: Via Fairfax Flea Market, Shoes: Christian Louboutin Maybe I was supposed to be born in the fifties, because the mere sight of a full skirt makes me weak in the knees. I bought this (dress worn as) skirt in December because it screamed holiday party dress, and to honest, I figured it would really only serve that purpose. But that’s okay every year around the holiday’s I could pull it out, twirl at a few parties, and it would totally be worth the money. Until, I decided that it could be worn as a skirt. And voila! I’m able to maximize my wardrobe and decrease the cost per wear. How did I do it? This trick works best for strapless dresses, but you fold the top part under and zip up the dress as much as it will go. Sometimes you need to add a safety pin to ensure that the zipper won’t roll down. It’s easy to do and stays put all day. On another note, I am so excited to have reached 2000 “likes” on Facebook. Your support means so much to me and I truly appreciate it. Thank you so much for taking the time to read my blog! |
