Today I layered a contrasting collared shirt underneath this pretty grey dress to give it more of a casual look. Remember when I mentioned re-purposing your husband/boyfriends old shirts? That’s what I did here, and it’s one of my favorite tricks because it adds a really nice over-sized collar look that you just can’t achieve with a shirt in your own size. I paired it with sparkly studs, a bow bracelet (that I thrifted in Vermont), and a lovely heart shaped bag. A few pretty sparkles always make for a great Monday! Note to self: Do take off that ugly black hair tie when snapping outfit pictures. The perks of being your own photographer. C’est la vie. Thanks so much for stopping by! |
