I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of saying that fashion is all about having the freedom to express yourself. Whether you’re matching your outfit palette to your mood, your personal inspo, or your creativity, there’s always something in your outfit that will resemble you.
Now, I’m no fashion designer, but I know I’m not the only one that walks into a store sometimes and says, “I wish this dress was in this color” or “I wish this top were a dress instead!” When this happens to me, I tell myself that there’s nothing stopping me from messing around with what I already have in my closet. That’s exactly what I did with this outfit. Looks like a dress off the rack, right? It’s not!
I loved the vibrant blue color of this strapless dress, it’s perfect for a night out with my girlfriends, but on this specific day, I wanted something a little more ladylike. White contrasts beautifully with this blue, so I put on my white lace top and voilà, a dress was made! Everything about this dress made me smile, the way the colors complimented each other and the beautiful texture of lace was absolutely perfect. I paired this little creation of mine with a strappy sandal, my Furla purse, and some cute white sunnies.
What are your favorite ways to experiment with your wardrobe?
As always, thanks so much for stopping by!
