Images Taken At Opus Hotel
As if two post are really enough to recap my Vancouver adventure. Bare with me as I try my best. Part two of my Vancouver trip consisted of exploring Whistler’s stunning mountain tops, meandering around the quaint neighborhood of Yaletown, an evening boat ride through Olympic Village and moving over a few blocks to the charming Opus Hotel. They go by the slogan “Uniquely Stylish, Always Fresh”. Opus Hotel is uniquely stylish, indeed. From the colorful rooms, to the retro candies that they leave on your pillow, Opus has thought of every. last. detail. When Enocha and I arrived to our room, we were delighted to find airheads on our pillows. “Airheads!? Do they even make those anymore?” The answer is yes and we savored every last bite. When we told the hotel what and amazing idea it was they said that they wanted candy that made people feel nostalgic. Mission accomplished. As I munched on my sugar taffy, I thought of the fondest childhood memories and waltzed around my room with glee. This is just one of many details that sets Opus apart from other hotels. However, another detail, not to be missed, are the heated floors. I know this seems like an unnecessary luxury, but you’ll have to tell that to my weary toes as they step out of the shower in wee hours of the morning. It is pure bliss. The room and bathroom give you the ultimate vacation experience, but should you decide that you need to venture out for food or libations, the Opus Bar is a happening place to be. Whether it’s for evening cocktails or coffee and a (mouthwateringly good) donut in the AM you won’t be sad that you did.

This hotel wouldn’t just be one that I recommend, it is one that I encourage. Go to Opus to explore Vancouver and to release your inner child. Relax, unwind and send your mind on the ultimate vacation. You won’t regret it.

I hope you enjoyed this travel post!
