The Fall Transition

Now that it is officially fall (as of Sunday), I figured it’s time to start thinking about how I’m going to transition some of my favorite summer pieces into my fall wardrobe. Last week, I pulled out a silky printed summer dress to wear for a busy day of errands. I felt like I needed to add something to break up the pattern a little and to put more of a fall spin on it, so I enlisted the help of a tan (faux) leather jacket. The jacket is light enough that it won’t keep me too hot (the weather hasn’t really changed yet), while the texture is perfect for the changing seasons.
