Who knew that just about 20 miles outside of LA there are sprawling fields, winding roads and acres and acres of undeveloped land as far as the eye can see. I’m so used to being in bumper-to-bumper traffic that the thought of open road seems like something you only hear about in old western movies. Getting behind the wheel of the Maserati Levante for a week, gave me a sudden interest in discovering uncharted territory. Maybe it had something to do with the growl the engine made every time I started it up, or maybe the smooth ride just made me want to drive, either way, I loved discovering beautiful new places right in my backyard. This was the one time that I can honestly say that the journey there was just as fun as the destination.
