Winter fashion can sometimes lead me into a dark tunnel of oversized sweaters, jeans and weathered boots, because let’s face it, when the temperature drops it’s only natural to choose function over fashion. However, sometimes when the sun comes out and greets you on a winter day, you get the opportunity to pull out some of your more fashionable winter wardrobe pieces. This skirt for example, is one of my favorites for fall and winter. It pairs well with boots, booties and even pumps. For a beautiful day in Lake Arrowhead I opted for this pretty blue beret and a matching blue pullover. Living in LA means getting to choose fashion over function most days – definitely something that I am grateful for!
