When Triangl Swimwear reached out to me about sending one of their bikini’s for feature on A Keene Sense of Style, two things came to mind. Excitement and overwhelming nerves. Something about the word bikini is a little intimidating, so the thought of having to wear one for the world to see only enhances that feeling.  I then thought to myself, how can I make this more… me? That’s when I decided to style it with a bright white maxi skirt, a classic fedora, and glamorous gold aviators. Although it seemed scary at first, Danny Fung and I had a great time shooting it and hanging out in Abalone Cove, a gorgeous shoreline park with sweeping views of Palos Verdes. This hidden gem is a mere 20 minutes from my house and yet I never knew it existed until my blogger friend Melanee, who’s an LA native, told me about it. With all of that being said, it’s kind of fun to face your fears, I may have to do it more often.
