When in comes to getting all dolled up, I like to pull out all the stops and this holiday party season, I’ve partnered with Rimmel London to create a look that does just that. Head turning outfits aren’t the only thing that will make people stop and stare, your makeup is just as important! Especially when you’re heading out to fabulous fêtes. I used Rimmel London’s “Get The Look” app to get me party ready. A few days before the party, I uploaded inspirational makeup looks that I found in magazines and on the web and tried them on myself with ease! All I had to do was take a selfie. It was quick and easy to see which makeup trends were hot and which were not. As much as I love to play with new looks, maybe bright blue eyeshadow just isn’t for me.
Instead of making a mess and wasting your expensive beauty products, you can use their app for a mess free solution. The best part? Once you find a look you love they suggest all the products you’ll need to create it at home. Yes, it’s really that easy! As you can see, I went for a smokey eye with gold and dark brown eye shadow for maximum drama. I kept my lipstick a subtle light pink so that my eyeshadow could be the star of the show.

To achieve this look, I started by applying Rimmel’s Radiance BB Cream all over my face then I set it with powder. Next, I added gold eyeshadow all over my eyelids before applying Rimmel’s brown “Scandaleyes” eyeshadow stick to the crease of my lids then carefully blended the colors together. Next, I added highlighting and contouring to my cheeks and cheek bones. The easiest way to do this is to suck in your cheeks and add Rimmel’s “Natural Bronzer” to the hollowed out portion then add Highlighter to the top of your cheekbones (above where you would normally put blush). I found that the “Good To Glow” Notting Hill” highlighter was the perfect color for my complexion and I loved how easy it was to blend. Then I added some drama to my eyes by layering on Rimmel’s “Wonder’Lash Mascara”. Even if you have short, thin lashes this will make you look like you’re wearing falsies! Next, line your eyes with black or brown eyeliner to make them really pop. Last but not least, my personal favorite, lips! I traced around my lip line with the “Only One Lipstick in Rosetto” and left the middle of my lips bare. Then, I took a tissue and blotted off the excess before swiping on the Rimmel London “Stay Glossy Lip Gloss” in “Popcorn for 2”. To create a nude-ish pink pout. That’s it! Just a few easy steps to create an all out glamorous party look. This makeup paired perfectly with my orange floor length gown and let me tell ya, I felt like a million bucks.

Do you love playing with makeup as much as I do? If so you’ll love Rimmel London’s “Get The Look” app. Don’t just take my word for it, download it in the app store and see for yourself. Also, if you snap a selfie using the app and enter their sweepstakes here you will be entered to win a cash prize – definitely a win win!

Thanks so much for visiting me!
