Ocean view? Check! Sunscreen? Check! Road trip buddy? Check! Fabulous outfits and makeup? Of course! Summer vacations mean fun in the sun, little white dresses and countless hours spent at the beach and lounging by the pool, but hitting the road doesn’t mean that I’m remiss about my skincare routine. Sydne and I checked in for a little staycation at the Malibu Beach Inn and even though it’s still in Los Angeles, we felt like it was a much needed getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city. When packing for a short trip I always like to stick with neutral color palettes so that I can easily create multiple outfits by mixing and matching the same staple pieces. But since I’m a girl who LOVES color, I always like to kick things up a notch with my makeup. My Limited-Edition Mary Kay Matte Lipstick in Paparazzi Pink always adds the perfect pop of color and it’s a shade that looks good on every skin tone! Sydne and I loved rocking our little white dresses and pink pouts for dinner (and ice cream after!), the perfect look for a warm summer night by the water. When we got back to our room we lit a few candles, indulged in some tasty macarons and removed our makeup with our go-to Mary Kay Oil Free Makeup Remover. I love that when I use this makeup remover I don’t have to rub hard to get my makeup off! Even my layers of mascara and black eyeliner come off with ease!
