I’m so happy to be partnering with Clinique for today’s post. It has taken me a while to learn that good skin care is important to good looking skin. I know that seems silly, but for the longest time I would sleep with my makeup on and use a bar of soap when I did wash my face. But then, after getting knowledge from countless online articles and magazines, I learned that what I was doing was going to be really harmful in the future. That’s why I started to incorporate the Clinique 3 Step Skincare System into my daily routine. Now, every night before bed, I use their Liquid Facial Soap which makes my skin feel cool and clean. Their Clarifying Lotion toner, which cleans deep to unclog pores to remove all of the makeup from the nooks and crannies of your skin, and their Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel to hydrate my skin and repair it from the days activities. It’s easy to feel lazy and to say, “I’ll start tomorrow” but starting today is the best way to ensure that you’ll have great skin for many years to come. With that being said, I’ve also promised myself that I’m going to take better care of my body too! All summer long my head has been in “vacation” mode, meaning eating anything I want – all the time! But I’m changing that mentality so that I can live healthier and feel more confident. I always try my best to keep the promises that I make to myself because they are, after all, the most important ones. It’s time to start putting our best faces forward.
