‘ Dress: Alex Perry, Top: Solace London, Pants: ASOS (similar), Shoes: Schutz, Jewelry: Tacori
By December first, I usually find myself frantically searching for the perfect black tie dress to wear to my husbands annual office Christmas party. But this year, with all the parties being canceled, I couldn’t help but miss the frantic search for the perfect dress, and getting dressed up at all. The search only adds to the excitement, and differed gratification, that I feel after I finally locate the gown of my dreams, and get to slip into it on the night of the party. Then I decided, just because holiday parties are canceled, it doesn’t mean that playing dress up needs to be. After all, the reason why I started this blog 8 years ago was because I love fashion, not because I had places to wear all of the pretty outfits I loved. So on this day in particular, I put on two fabulous looks: A black Alex Perry gown (fit for a queen), a white Solace London statement top, and I topped it off with sparkling Tacori jewelry. Just because. Just because I love fashion, because I love getting dressed up, and because 2020 needs a little (a lot!) more sparkle. Slipping into these outfits made me feel so fabulous. I encourage you to play dress up and pull out some of your favorite over the top outfits this December. You won’t regret it!
