Top: Diane Von Furstenberg (dress worn as top) similar here, Skirt: Charlotte Russe (dress worn as skirt) similar here, Blazer: Forever 21 (love this striped option), Bag: Vintage, Earrings: H&M, Watch: Michael Kors, Bracelet: Gifted, Ring: Cache, Shoes: Charles David via Frederick’s c/o, Lipstick: Mac “Amplified”, Nails: OPI “Pinking of You”
Today I mixed one of my favorite pattern combinations, floral and stripes. I paired a structured black and white blazer with a floral print skirt and black leather accessories. It’s important to stay in the same color family when mixing prints so that things don’t get too busy. Also, I find myself doing a lot of “wardrobe maximizing” these days; wearing dresses as tops and skirts as dresses. It really is a great way to make sure you’re wearing everything you have. Also, I’ve put myself on a bit of a shopping probation, so I’m forced to get creative. I hope your week is going great so far! |

Dee, I'm sorry I had some site issues a few weeks back that I'm still trying to get resolved. My domain name A Keene Sense of Style dot com isn't working so accessing it from http://www.akeenesenseofstyle.blogspot.com is the only way. Sorry for the inconvenience but thanks so much for stopping by.

Superb blog! Do you have any tips for aspiring writers?
I'm planning to start my own blog soon but I'm a little lost
on everything. Would you advise starting with a free platform like
WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many options out there that I'm completely overwhelmed ..
Any recommendations? Kudos!
