Hello, my name is Elizabeth Keene and I’m a thrift-oholic. It started when I was about 10 years old, my mom would take my three siblings and I to poke around in her favorite thrift stores.  We would of course moan and groan and then end up playing a game of hide-and-seek between the overstuffed clothing racks. I didn’t appreciate the beauty of thrift stores then. Now, that I’m older and wiser I make a point to pop by my neighborhood thrift stores often, sometimes shocked at the treasures I find. Finding this coat (with matching pants!) was one of those times. I spotted it in the corner of the Goodwill and decided to pick it up and slip in on. The fit was lovely and it had a great weight to it. I flipped the tag… $10!? What a steal. I went to the checkout counter only to realize that it was on sale for $7 — purple tag special, anyone? The label reads “All Handstiched, Made in Israel”. Needless to say, I left feeling victorious and thought to myself, thanks for rubbing off on me, Mom.

On another note, I’m off to North Carolina for a few days to spend Thanksgiving with my Family. I’m so excited to view the gorgeous fall scenery and to spend a few days with my loved ones. I hope you have a wonderful holiday.

Thanks so much for reading!
Xo -Elizabeth
