I wanted a dress that was a bold pop of color, so naturally, I reached for this lovely royal blue lacey one. I loved the mixture of patterns and textures on the dress so I decided to add even more visual interest by pairing it with a striped sun hat. Very nice outfit. I went to the Derby yesterday and wore a black and white striped bodycon dress, black sandal wedges, and a black and white striped wide brim hat with a black/white/red patterned bow with a red flower. I accessorized with gold jewelry and a red purse. Your blog has definitely made me step my accessories game up 10 fold.
And wait! Is that an engagement ring I see on your left hand?
I was afraid someone might think that! It's a ring that my mom gave me. I usually wear it on my right hand but since I was wearing the big ring I decided to switch it over to the left to complement the bracelet. You're so observant! No engagement yet! 🙂
