I’ve loved jewelry since I was a little girl. My mom always tells me about the days when I used to tug on her pearl necklace and how she would catch me trying on her clip-ons just about every time she turned around. So maybe that’s why in my adult life, when it comes to accessories my rule is simple, never leave the house without them. Now, you don’t always have to don a Cleopatra-esque statement necklace, but a little sparkle certainly can’t hurt. There’s just something about putting on a shiny new piece of jewelry that makes me feel like the ultimate cool girl. It’s not just because people stop to say “where did you get that”? But also because it puts a little extra sparkle in my eye and pep in my step. When I style an outfit, I enlist the help of jewelry to make the look my own. Sure, anyone can buy the latest designer dress but pairing unique accessories with that dress takes it to a whole new level and makes me standout from the crowd. I wear jewelry 7 days a week. When I’m heading to the gym you’ll see me wearing a pair of sparkly diamond studs (for real!). When I’m going out with my girlfriends, I always opt for the latest colorful and trendy jewelry pieces like pink tassel earrings. And of course for date nights, I go with classic statement pieces like crystal chandelier earrings or a pearl cluster necklace, which always make me feel elegant.

In Collaboration With BaubleBar
Today I’ve partnered with BaubleBar to style three looks showcasing some of my favorite jewelry trends of the moment: chokers, layered chains and tassels! For my first look, I styled the black bowtie Whitely Choker with gold Caesar Ear Crawlers and a gold Micro Collar necklace. Chokers are huge this season, so I decided to layer two of them for a little extra umph. The gold ear crawlers pair nicely with this combination because they are subtle but still add a bit of sparkle. For my next outfit, I wanted a bold pop of color to dress up my black and white romper, so what better way to do that than with royal blue tassel earrings!? I love that these blue Ishigaki Drop earrings are playful and elegant at the same time. I paired them with a chic Crystal Mason Ring and tied it all together with a simple gold Micro Collar. Last but not least, I wanted jewelry that would take my gold blazer from formal to trendy, so I decided to layer three necklaces – yes three! First, I started with the burgundy velvet Duchess Choker which is oh-so-fall, then I thought, it needs more… glam. So I added in my Pyramid Spike Y-Chain necklace for length before topping it off with the layered gold Axelia Choker. Together they create the illusion of one super-glamorous statement piece.
Each jewelry look creates a totally different vibe. The gold blazer and burgundy necklace are tailored and glamorous. The striped romper and blue tassel earrings are playful and girly while the black choker and gold ear cuffs are bold and fashion-forward.

So there you have it, adding a few carefully placed baubles to your look is an easy way to make it more glamorous. BaubleBar’s jewelry is new and different because they take popular trends and put their own spin on them! Their color selections are always fresh and vibrant and the shapes are always feminine, playful and unique — perfect for work play and everything in between.

That’s how I Bauble. What are some of your favorite jewelry trends?
Thanks so much for reading! I hope you enjoy this post as much as I enjoyed creating it for you.
