Getting out of the city always brings me a sense of calmness. Maybe it’s because I grew up in a small town, with only one stoplight and the most action you would see on any given day were the cows grazing in the fields. Or maybe it’s because as I get older, I appreciate the little, quiet moments so much more. Maybe that’s why my fiancé and I decided to have our wedding in the rolling hills of Tuscany, we both just wanted a quiet, peaceful place to say our vows in front of our loved ones. Just one more month until we’re there and I can’t wait! I’ve been knee deep in wedding planning lately and it’s really exciting. Anyways, it was so wonderful to sit in an empty field with my umbrella, my little pink dress, some comfy flats, and a good book and to pretend, for just a few moments, that there wasn’t a loud, bustling city all around me.
