Feminine, playful, sophisticated. This look makes me feel so many different ways. This little pink dress has been sitting in my closet for over a year and it is one of my favorite purchases – ever. I know those two things don’t seem like they should go together. If I like it, why don’t I wear it, you ask? Because there is just something about differed gratification that makes it extra special. I wanted to save this dress until I had the perfect occasion or location to wear it. And what better place to take it out for a spin than the iconic Wrigley (yes, like the gum) Mansion, Home of the Pasadena Tournament of Roses. The estate and the grounds surrounding it are stunning and immaculately kept – it seemed so appropriate for shooting this perfect dress. I decided to layer a blouse over the top portion because it is a strapless, sweetheart neckline and it seemed a bit more formal than the vibe I was going for. This white oversized bow blouse toned it down a notch while still keeping the super girly vibe. I wish I could buy this dress in every color of the rainbow. Pink was the only one they had.
