Recently, I talked about how 90’s fashion is making a huge come back in the fashion industry and I couldn’t be happier. Suits should be a staple in everyone’s closet – men and women! Why? Because there’s something about a great suit that can make a woman feel confident, sexy and powerful, which are all the essential things to make you feel like a complete #girlboss. I definitely recommend finding a suit that suits your style (see what I did there!?) Even if your job doesn’t require you to wear a one, go and find a suit that makes you feel like a bad ass! Especially because I am a firm believer in dressing for the job/career/position you want – not the one you have. If you want the big fancy title and the corner office, look the part.
You all know how much I love pink, so this pink suit was practically screaming my name as soon as I saw it. I loved that it hugged my curves in all the right places and it didn’t make me look boxy. The open slits on the side of the pants really modernized the overall look and made it a bit more unique. I decided to pair it with a bell sleeve top, a black baker boy hat, a pair of houndstooth pumps and my classic Chanel purse. I loved how this outfit turned out, because it looked feminine and classy yet powerful – perfect for a busy day of meetings.
