Polka Polka

When I bought this dress I was so excited that I mentioned it to my girlfriends, Laura & Kier, “I just got this amazing polka dot dress” to which they both quickly replied “like you really need another polka dot dress, Liz!” So I then of course, began making a case for myself, trying to describe it and explain how it wasn’t like the others. It was different – much more amazing! They gave me a few eye rolls and a “sure yeah right” but I stuck to my guns thinking you’ll see. And then on a roadtrip to Palm Springs I slipped into this pretty little polka dot dress and my girlfriends both saw it and exclaimed “that’s amazing and you were right”. It’s great to have friends who don’t let you make impulse purchases but this dress really is different from anything I own. All of my polka dot dresses (and skirts) are black or navy blue with white spots. This pretty salmon color is a nice change of pace. And for this dress to be a maxi and a wrap dress is really unique. I guess I don’t have to justify this purchase anymore but I am really smitten with it.
