As much as I would love to just hop on a plane and sneak off to Paris five times a year it’s just not really in the budget. So today, I’ve partnered with Maison Jules to share some of my favorite Parisian inspired places right here in LA. Their clothing is feminine & sophisticated while still being playful — much like the women in Paris. I ventured off to three of my favorite places in Pasadena to showcase these looks. For the first stop, I went to Le Pain Quotidian because they are the epitome me of shabby-chic Parisian style. I love to visit Le Pain for a mid-day latte or for a leisurely breakfast on Saturday morning. Next, as you may have already have noticed, I really love old buildings and architecture. So I’m always on the hunt for buildings that remind me of Italy and Paris but that are right here in my neighborhood. When I discovered the campus at Caltech I instantly fell in love. Their architecture reminded me so much of the buildings you see in Paris, all I needed was a nice bouquet of roses and a flirty floral dress for wandering around the grounds. Lastly, no Parisian inspired post would be complete without a stop at a tasty little macaron shop. Lette, in Pasadena is the most charming little shop. The stark white walls make for the perfect backdrop for their colorful macarons. Now, armed with a fresh baguette and half a dozen macarons I can head out to start my day in true Parisian fashion.

What are some of your favorite Parisian inspired places? Be sure to share them using the hashtag #MJPiecesofParis.

I had so much fun shooting this post and I hope that you enjoy it too. A big thank you to Maison Jules for partnering with me. Have a great weekend!
