Do you ever just want to dress like a first lady? Sometimes, I wish that I had somewhere to wear a pretty little pink skirt suit like this one. When I’m not working from home, I’m usually running around in a little dress, or on the weekends sometimes jeans, but outfits like this often seem too fancy unless your address is 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. But then I got to thinking (probably after a dozen episodes of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel), why can’t we bring ladylike-fashion like skirt suits and tiny fascinators back? I love that men and women in the 40’s and 50’s were always overdressed in 3-piece suits, tea length dresses and matching hats and gloves. Putting in the extra effort and getting dressed up for the day is such a great confidence booster and it’s guaranteed to turn a few heads at the office or even on the walk to your car. Put it this way, you’ll never regret wearing your pink skirt suit so don’t be afraid to pull that fabulous outfit out of your closet and take it for a twirl on the town.
