Sometimes finding outfit inspiration seems like a never ending battle. I can’t begin to explain how many times I’ve stared into my closet, completely clueless about what to wear. I’m serious! I spend hours rummaging through only to feel like I have absolutely nothing to wear.
When this happens to me, there’s a little trick I like to do so that I can picture an outfit in my mind. I like to take a step back, and think of something or someone that has been giving me inspiration. Lately, it’s been bougainvillea. The vibrant colors on these flowers are absolutely breathtaking and the way the wind makes them dance has always reminded me of a sheer chiffon dress. So, I think to myself, ‘what in my closet reminds me of these beauties?’ And what do you know, I remember this gorgeous ruffled dress. It’s floral, chiffon, and has bright colors that instantly make me smile. I decided to pair this beauty with a pastel colored coat, studded pumps and these cute mirrored sunnies for a little more pink.
Finding inspiration for an outfit isn’t always an easy task, but try to think about the small things in life that bring a smile to your face. You’ll be surprised at how easy it is to incorporate it into your day to day outfits!
