Spring is here but our weather has been somewhat unpredictable! Usually, LA has easy breezy weather during the Spring, but lately it’s been so windy, cold and grey. As much as I would love to curl up on the couch with a blanket and a side of hot cocoa I can’t. So, on days where the weather’s cold and gloomy, I like to add a pop of clor, like this jacquard coat! I’m completely obsessed with it. It’s colorful, elegant, and effortlessly chic. I especially love that it has a metallic hue so when the sun hits it it sparkles a bit.
I’ve found myself wearing this coat out more often than I’d like to admit, but trust me, it’s hard not to. On days where I have meetings back-to-back or errands to run, I like to be comfortable yet put together (unfortunately, sweatpants aren’t going to cut it). When I have hectic days like these, I always make sure to wear something casual, but still add a bit of glamour here and there. For this look, I decided to go back to the basics with some skinny jeans and a white satin top. I love the way gold contrasts with blue, so I went for these gorgeous bauble drop earrings, my suede booties and a glamorous gold purse. I’m obsessed with how well everything paired together without being too matchy matchy.
